The 29-year-old pro recently captured headlines after clinching his first international title at the Thailand Classic Invitational, marking a significant milestone in his young career.
Rocharam’s rise hasn’t been without its challenges. Coming from a modest background in Gujarat, he learned the sport on public courses, often borrowing clubs and relying on self-taught techniques. His big break came when he won the All-India Amateur Championship in 2018, earning him the backing of a major sponsor and entry into the professional circuit.
Today, Rocharam trains in Bengaluru and competes regularly on the Asian Development Tour, steadily climbing the global rankings. His swing coach describes him as “disciplined, analytical, and fearless,” while peers praise his ability to stay calm under pressure — especially on the final holes.
